About Spokane Fishing
Spokane is located in Eastern Washington state, about 30 miles from the North Idaho border. Spokane is one of the largest communities east of Seattle and boasts a nice blend of city life and outdoor recreation opportunities.
There are many fishing spots available in and around Spokane. Most of them are freshwater lake fisheries with a handful of streams and rivers also.
Float-tube and small craft fishing is popular and locations for this type of fishing are common. River fishing is a bit more complex and some waters are better than others.
There are also good opportunities for canoeing and other water sports.
